Hofer's Wedding and Grooms cakes were shown on the "Food Network" show "The Secret Life of ... Wedding Cakes" hosted by Jim O'Connor. We were approached by the show after they had heard of our reputation as being one of Americas leading experts on these cakes. After a full day of filming last fall, we had our television debut on Valentine's Day! |

WEDDING CAKES Selecting your wedding cake should be fun. To help you get started, here's how we do it at Hofer's.

| Your
wedding cake is important to us and deserves our full attention,
therefore we ask that you call and make an appointment when you wish to
visit to discuss wedding cakes and view our albums and catalogs. Every cake is a custom cake, and our albums are only a starting point. You may want to bring a friend or relative with you to help you explore all your options, someone who shares your tastes and vision of your wedding. Any photos, drawings, colors, or patterns that you can bring with you would also be a great help. We will be looking for the design that best fits with the style of your dress, your colors, your bridesmaids, and all the other design elements of your wedding. In selecting a design, we want to find a cake that fits and belongs in your wedding. More than just pretty, the design must be right.

| SERVINGS The number of servings in your wedding cake, though based on the number of your guests, may need to be adjusted to account for the following factors:

| PRICES Wedding cake price will vary depending on the design that you select. The more intricate the details on a cake, the higher the price will be. As we may want to combine design elements from cakes of different prices, we will determine a new price for this design. We can also quote you a price for a cake design that you have found in a book or magazine. For our standard cakes prices, follow the link at bottom of this page. Delivery and set-up charges may vary with the location of the reception. This charge is usually $ 40.

| FLAVORS The basic flavors of cake are butter pound, chocolate, and marble. Other flavors are available with an added charge. Different fillings are also available such as fruit jams and liquors. |

| COLORS We will try to match all color samples as closely as possible. Be aware that food color is light sensitive. Cakes must be kept in a temperature controlled area away from any sunlight prior to the function. We will not be held responsible for any changes of colors after the cake has been picked up by customer or set up by us at the wedding facility.

| FRESH
FLOWERS Fresh flowers look absolutely fabulous on a wedding cake, but we are not florists. We can confer with your florist or put you in touch with ours, as to the dimensions of your cake as well as the time at which your cake will be done. |
